Amy J. Mayer represents clients in real estate development and finance, not-for-profit governance, entity formation, and general commercial law.  Prior to joining Marcus Attorneys in 2001, she served as Assistant New York State Attorney General and prior to that she worked at MFY Legal Services.  She is a former Trustee of the Pratt Area Community Council.  She also served as law clerk to Justice Gary Stein of the New Jersey Supreme Court.

Amy is a graduate of Princeton University and Harvard Law School and earned a Masters degree from the University of Chicago.  She has lived in several Brooklyn neighborhoods — Fort Greene, Park Slope and Prospect Lefferts Gardens — and currently resides in Princeton, New Jersey with her husband and two children.
