Jed S. Marcus is the principal attorney of Marcus Attorneys and chief executive officer of Insite. Prior to forming Marcus Attorneys and Insite in 1984, he served in New York City's economic development agencies in several executive positions. Beginning public service as Counsel to the Mayor's Office of Development, he last was the Executive Vice President of the New York City Public Development Corporation (renamed the Economic Development Corporation). At the Public Development Corporation, Mr. Marcus directed planning, construction, industrial and neighborhood commercial development.
Insite has developed residential and mixed use projects in the New York area and provides project management services for the real estate projects of institutional and commercial clients.
In addition to his work at Marcus Attorneys and Insite, Mr. Marcus is president of the board of The Skyscraper Museum, the co-ordinator of Green Fort Greene & Clinton Hill, a director of the Fort Greene Association and of the Myrtle Avenue Business Improvement District, a former clerk of the real estate committee of the Brooklyn Friends School, a past director of the Alliance of Resident Theatres/New York and past president of the board of Dance Theater Workshop.
Mr. Marcus is a graduate of Wesleyan University and the Columbia University School of Law. He, his wife and their daughters are long-time residents of Fort Greene, Brooklyn.

Philip J. Lavender leads Marcus Attorneys' representation of banks. He also represents clients involved in real estate transactions and development. Prior to joining Marcus Attorneys, Mr. Lavender spent six years at a Long Island firm where he focused on similar matters.
Mr. Lavender has represented various lenders including Wells Fargo Bank, JPMorgan Chase Bank, Citibank, Capital One Bank, First Republic Bank, Emigrant Mortgage Company, Inc., Dime Savings Bank, Countrywide and Goldpoint Mortgage Bankers Incorporated.
Mr. Lavender is a member of the New York State Bar Association, Nassau County Bar Association and Massapequa Kiwanis.
In addition to his law practice, Mr. Lavender maintains an active presence on the internet by publishing his blog and launching a website, Offering Planet, an online collection of offering plans for condominium and cooperative buildings.
Mr. Lavender is a graduate of St John's University and Thomas M. Cooley Law School. He, his wife Laura and their son Ben live in Massapequa, New York.

Guillermo (Bill) Santiago represents developers in the acquisition, development, financing and sale of real property and real estate projects. His practice includes focus on the area of condominiums, representing developers in matters relating to the formation and operation of residential and mixed-use condominiums, including the preparation and filing of offering plans with the New York State Department of Law and the sale of condominium units.

Amy J. Mayer represents clients in real estate development and finance, not-for-profit governance, entity formation, and general commercial law. Prior to joining Marcus Attorneys in 2001, she served as Assistant New York State Attorney General and prior to that she worked at MFY Legal Services. She is a former Trustee of the Pratt Area Community Council. She also served as law clerk to Justice Gary Stein of the New Jersey Supreme Court.
Ms. Mayer is a graduate of Princeton University and Harvard Law School and earned a Masters degree from the University of Chicago. She has lived in several Brooklyn neighborhoods -- Fort Greene, Park Slope and Prospect Lefferts Gardens -- and currently resides in Princeton, New Jersey with her husband and two children.

Curran S. Lee represents clients in the financing and development of real estate projects, commercial transactions, estate planning, and entity formation matters. Prior to joining Marcus Attorneys, Mr. Lee worked with Bloomberg BNA’s state tax law group and served as a legal fellow for former U.S. Congressman Daniel B. Maffei.
Mr. Lee is a graduate of Virginia Wesleyan College and Syracuse University College of Law.
